"Hey! Whats going on?" (as I always greeted people at my shop...)
Welcome to my first post here! This is primarily a spot where I will post real estate listings in Boston's historic (and fun) Beacon Hill neighborhood! Check back often, as it will be periodically updated with great rentals and sales options for those interested in relocating to Beacon Hill (or bouncing to another spot in the neighborhood, for those who already live here)...
I also plan to post about other topics of interest to me, either in a "popular culture" vein (i.e. movies, books, music, etc), or anything else that seems relevant to me at the time. "FRED'S PICKS" was a favorite spot in the former Fred's Video, a fixture on Charles Street for over a decade, and now is the time to resurrect it!!
Now, I have to figure out how to navigate this whole "blog" thing-- new posts to come shortly!!

- I grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ (a suburb of Philadelphia), and came to Boston in 1986 when I enrolled in Emerson College. Upon graduating in 1990 with the expectation of getting into the advertising business, I instead worked as a court reporter for several years (Advertising was a tough field here in 1990). The day after graduation, I began a part time job at Beacon Hill Video, to keep myself in free movies and feed my love of film. I bought the shop a few years later, where I remained until August of 2007...
